The Network Surface4Food unites research institutes, companies and institutions from all parts of the industrial value chain of the food industry with the overlying goal of enhancing surfaces in the food industry’s production and processing procedures using innovative surface technologies to allow for a more efficient and effective cleanability and have a prophylactic effect, protecting them from recontamination.

The Network not only provides scientific know-how, but also commercial competencies, e.g. from the fields of plant construction, cleaning technologies, sensory analysis and food production.
